Established in 1983, BDB LAND SDN BHD (formerly known as Darulaman Realty Sdn. Bhd.), is a leading name in Kedah for township developments. It pioneered Bandar Darulaman in Jitra as a self-sustaining satellite township of the state capital, Alor Setar, in 1984. In 1999, Darulaman Utama was conceived to bring large scale township development to Kuala Ketil in the district of Baling. In 2004 Darulaman Perdana was launched in Sungai Petani as a premier location for quality living lifestyle. Many other new township developments are in the pipeline to ensure sustainability of contribution of quality living to the people of Kedah.
