8 Philippine Developments, Townships Named as Finalists for the Japan International Property Awards (JIPA) 2018
Japan International Property Awards (JIPA) 2018 announced the list of finalists and Philippine entries made it to 8 out 10 categories, with competing entries from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Voting is now open for finalists and will comprise 20% of the final score, with 80% coming from an independent panel of judges.
Ortigas and Company qualified for 2 entries with The Imperium for Best High-Rise Residential Development and Capitol Commons for Best Mix-Integrated Development, while Vista Land Brittany's Crosswinds in Tagaytay City qualified for Best Family-Friendly Development. Arthaland once again gained recognition for their green initiatives with Arya Residences qualifying for the Best Green Feature Development, alongside a sole competitor, Whizdom 101 of Thailand.
Other Philippine finalists include Dusit Thani Residences of Torre Lorenzo from Davao, the sole entry from Mindanao, for Best Leisure Development. Despite the island's closure, Ocean Garden Villas of Megaworld's Boracay Newcoast also qualified for the Best Resort Home Development. Meanwhile Ayala's Nuvali in Santa Rosa City, Laguna and Park Central Towers at the iconic Ayala Triangle qualified for Best Township and Best Luxury Condominium Development, respectively.
